I say this all the time, sports have the ability to bring us together unlike anything else. Now it’s time to get sports back to what made us fall in love with them in the first place. Tune in every Tuesday 4:30pm PT/7:30pm ET during Hour 3 of TPUSA LIVE to hear me, Jon Root, sit down with Super Bowl and World Series Champions, record holders, Olympians and many more well-known sports personalities for conversations you won’t hear anywhere else.
Sports used to be a unifier – an outlet away from the craziness and stresses of life and politics. Now Left-wing politics are ingrained in almost every game, broadcast and piece of media coverage. It’s polluted with one side of the story and if you have another opinion, you’re told to stand down and shut up. This show will provide an outlet for open dialogue, fun, loose commentary and informational content that will combat the “woke” culture taking over the industry while integrating light and entertaining segments/topics. After all, we want to just talk sports. If we want politics, we’ll turn on the news.

I’m especially excited about this show because no other young sports media personality dares to dive into this space. Everyone is afraid to get canceled. We really feel this has the potential to be a voice for millions.
What will it feel like watching “Breakaway” every Tuesday? Imagine Outkick The Coverage with Clay Travis featuring prominent guests and Conservative content who are unafraid to speak against the ‘woke’ Left with the energy, flair and looseness of The Pat McAfee Show while having its own unique, original vibe that sticks to sports without force-feeding you politics.
“Breakaway” will be an unfiltered sports show that doesn’t hold back. It covers the side of sports conversations other networks and hosts are afraid to. It will be content that fills you in on what’s happening and how sports, politics and culture intertwine. Left-wing politics are running rampant in mainstream sports media and they don’t represent the sports-loving masses. You deserve to hear both sides of the story, so after we bring both sides of the argument to the table, you’ll realize that sports don’t need politics. Sports used to be patriotic, fun and inviting. Let’s get back to that.
I can’t wait for you to watch the premiere episode this Tuesday, September 14th, where Producer Bryan and I will explain in detail why this show is so important and break down how sports media became so woke in the first place.
