We believe the Declaration of Independence and United States Constitution are the greatest and most consequential political documents ever written, that America is the greatest country in the history of the world, and capitalism is the most moral, proven, and effective economic system ever discovered.

We believe that America offers the clearest demonstration in history that free people exercising self-government—operating in harmony with the underlying principles of America’s founding, Western Civilization, and Christian ethics—can generate unmatched prosperity, liberty, and peace. Preserving our culture, and the Christian values upon which it was formed, is essential to America’s survival and therefore central to Turning Point USA’s purpose.

We believe a free society can only be built on a belief in objective truth. We believe in the enduring power of facts, evidence, and logical argument. We believe in training young Americans to think critically and reject lies, no matter how popular they are or how many institutional endorsements they receive, because the truth does not change to suit the moment.

We want a self-confident America that is proud of its history, its Founding, and its traditional values. We aspire to be a country that offers every citizen opportunity, provided they are willing to work hard and be loyal to our national creed.

We believe that in America success is earned, not given or guaranteed, and where a person's future is determined by character, effort, and ability rather than race or ancestry. We reject efforts to judge individuals by group identity rather than merit. Equality means equal dignity, equal protection under the law, and equal opportunity, not equal outcomes.

We envision a culture that honors the working American, the entrepreneur, the tradesman, the small business owner, the student, the stay-at-home mom. We seek a culture that encourages ambition, discipline, and grit. We believe a nation that celebrates hard work and integrity produces citizens who are not just prosperous, but truly free.

We are fighting for an America where every citizen understands the conservative principles that built this nation: free markets, free speech, limited government, personal property, and individual liberty. We are working for an America where these values are not only taught, but embraced by every new generation of citizens, so they are equipped to carry those principles forward. We strive for a nation where Americans are active participants in the civic life of their community and country.

We believe that America was founded by Christians, who were inspired by uniquely Christian precepts, traditions, and revelations passed down to our Founders through the canon of Western Civilization. We believe the church plays a critical role engaging in the public square, rather than retreating into private life. That role includes, but is not limited to, protecting the traditional family, the sanctity of marriage, biological sex as male and female, and the rights of the unborn.

This is the reality that Turning Point USA is building—one campus, one chapter, one church, and one student activist at a time.

And yes, there will continue to be disagreement inside our tent, just as there always has been. Not because we lack principle, but because we are serious enough to think, to challenge each other, and to get to the truth.

Charlie built Turning Point USA’s foundation on first principles, Christian ethics, and conservative ideas. We remain anchored to those convictions. We will not drift from them, dilute them, or abandon them—not now, not ever.
