Turning Point USA Spokesman Andrew Kolvet interviewed US Vice President JD Vance Tuesday evening at the University of Georgia during a stop for This is The Turning Point Tour, featuring Q&A from students.

The two spoke of solutions to current dilemmas the US is facing domestically and abroad, including immigration (especially H1-B visas), the importance of voting, negotiations with Iran, investigations of Jeffrey Epstein files among other topics proposed by questioners as well. The vice president also honored the legacy of Charlie Kirk throughout the interview..

Vance commented on the late series of assaults of TPUSA Frontlines Reporter Savanah Hernandez while reporting in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

“Savanah Hernandez, of course, was assaulted in Minnesota a couple of days ago,” he remarked. “I talked to [FBI Director] Kash Patel on the way down here and I said I assume that we’re doing something here, and he said, ‘yes, we’ve had multiple agents on the ground.’ We’ve already talked to Savanah.”

Vance said the White House will use video evidence from the protests to pursue justice concerning the people who assaulted Hernandez.

“We’re going to use the video to try to go after the people who assaulted her and then try to defund the networks that fund those radicals who are going around assaulting activists,” he said.
