Turning Point USA is excited to announce the newest initiative from TPUSA Students, “The Grand American Tailgate Tour,” set to take place on multiple campuses this college football season.
Charlie Kirk once said that “America needs college football.” Mindful of this need, the Grand American Tailgate is leaning into the college experience by bringing high-energy tailgates to campuses across the country.
Attendees can enjoy free food, select merchandise, music, and engage with special guests at each tailgate stop. The TPUSA Semi Truck will also make an appearance at select campuses.
The Grand American Tailgate is also advancing TPUSA’s mission of increasing civic engagement through voter status checks and voter registration opportunities.
While recognizing that the purpose of sports for him was to escape from politics, Charlie Kirk believed that college football could be “a gateway to reopening our country.”
The Grand American Tailgate will visit the following universities during the upcoming NCAA football season:
- Auburn University (September 12)
- University Of Iowa (September 12)
- University Of Mississippi (Sep 19)
- University Of Nevada – Reno (September 26)
- University Of Nebraska – Lincoln (October 10)
- Arizona State University (October 24)
- University Of Texas – Austin (October 31)
- Ohio State University (November 7)
