LGBT protestors stormed the Oklahoma capitol building on Monday to show opposition against a proposed law that would restrict the medical gender transition of minors.
In a State of the State address, Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt called for legislation that would ban minors from being able to receive any gender transition procedures until they become legal adults.
“Minors can’t vote, can’t purchase alcohol, can’t purchase cigarettes. We shouldn’t allow a minor to get a permanent gender-altering surgery in Oklahoma.”

There are countless laws across the country aimed at protecting children because of their immaturity. As a child, you do not have the ability to make competent life-changing decisions because you do not have a mature grasp of reality. Yet these “Trans Lives Matter” activists are determined to allow children to make the decision to mutilate their bodies before they are even fully developed. They want teenagers to be allowed to surgically remove their breasts and genitals. This is a symptom of a lost society plagued by dangerous lies on social media.
Over one hundred trans activists occupied the Oklahoma State Capitol and yet, there were no accusations by the mainstream media of “insurrection” or “threats to democracy.” As the protestors stood in their state capitol, they chanted “trans lives matter” and “this is our house.” But I guess they didn’t notice the standing ovation their governor received when he said “send me a bill that bans all gender transition surgeries and hormone therapies on minors in the state of Oklahoma!”
It is important to remember that although there are loud voices calling for so-called “trans rights,” most Americans agree that allowing minors to go through irreversible surgeries to alter their body is absurd. If a child asked a doctor to cut his or her finger off, the doctor would refuse. But when it comes to “gender identity,” they are suddenly eager to cut off healthy genitalia. We need to call this what it is: child abuse.
