Turning Point USA is pleased to announce its newest contributor, Shane Winnings.
As the CEO and Chairman of the national men’s ministry Promise Keepers, author of Men of God, and a former law enforcement officer and military veteran, Shane Winnings brings a unique perspective to the TPUSA Contributor team. The organization is honored to highlight his work promoting godly masculinity and living a life centered around faith, family, and liberty in a time when men, especially young men, are hungry to see these values lived out and defended in the public square.
Through his America Needs Godly Men campus tour and his men’s Wake Up Call events, Winnings works to combat the idea of “toxic masculinity” by providing men with the tools to succeed in an increasingly polarized society. He also takes on the challenge of promoting Charlie Kirk’s legacy of advancing the Christian faith and encouraging men to live out their faith as husbands and fathers. Winnings believes that Christians can stand firm in biblical truth while also working to restore stability and common sense to our institutions.
“Men need a positive vision of what they should become,” Winnings says. “A man can be strong and compassionate, courageous and humble, disciplined and gracious. Those things aren’t contradictions. We have an opportunity to reach a generation that is searching for purpose, identity, truth, and something worth giving their lives to. I want to help young people understand that faith isn’t something to compartmentalize. It should shape how we live, lead, work, serve, and engage the culture around us.”
Winnings has a combined following of 1.8 million across social media. He will be featured at Turning Point USA’s Pick Up the Mic and Make Heaven Crowded events, engaging in the culture and speaking at TPUSA’s national events.
