In what’s probably the most egregious example of “saying the quiet part out loud” we’ve seen recently, the New York Times has just published an op-ed making the argument that there’s “no good reason” we should restrict voting to citizens of America. Yes, really.

It would be infuriating if it weren’t so obvious exactly what the Left is doing. While those in power do absolutely nothing to curb the endless stream of illegal immigrants crossing our border, the Liberal chattering class floats the idea to take away one of the fundamental requirements that America has to vote or hold office: being a citizen.

The endgame is clear. The Left is at this point flooding illegal immigrants across the border and floating this argument through a “respected” institution like the New York Times because this is what they truly want. As “Hillbilly Elegy” author J.D. Vance wrote on Twitter: “Our ruling class is dedicated to the destruction of its own people.”

Yes, this much is true. You will see much, much more of this argument over the coming decade because this is how the Left works. The argument is floated as some Progressive nonsense. Then, the argument makes its way to more mainstream circles. Afterward, it’s picked up by the far-Left figures who seek to “influence” mainstream politicians on the Left. Before you know it, the argument to “expand” voting rights to non-Citizens is so mainstream that you’re “racist” if you disagree.

Well, I disagree. And I’m certainly not racist, either. If the right to vote is just given away to anyone who decides to break our laws to come here illegally, we will not have a country. Which, coincidentally, seems to be exactly what the activists on the Left want.
