The mainstream media NEVER stops operating as the propaganda arm for the Left!
Americans suffering from high gas apparently just need to stop driving so much, according to The New York Times.
The elitist newspaper blames drivers – not ineffective and incompetent government – for the issues America is facing with gas prices.
Breitbart news breaks this all down:
As gas prices reached another record on [May 28] of $4.60 per gallon, up 45 cents from one month ago, according to AAA, many Americans are looking to enjoy their holiday weekend by getting out of town using a gas-powered vehicle. Yet the Times on Friday slammed American drivers for over-consuming gasoline. “Motorists have not done much to burn a lot less gasoline,” the Times wrote in an article entitled, “Gas Prices Hit New Highs as Summer Driving Season Starts.” The article praised high gas prices as a reason for drivers to purchase expensive electric vehicles, which it claimed would cause gas prices to fall. The article noted, however, that high gas prices have failed to drop because consumers have not made “big changes” by purchasing “more fuel-efficient” vehicles.
So basically what we have here is the mainstream media doing their “job” of covering for ineffective leaders right now who are enacting disastrous policy that is making gas prices go up for EVERYONE.
There once was a time where I believed that the Paper Of Record was the best journalism there is, but now I just see that it’s yet another sad case of legacy media turned into another regime propagandist.
