Former Texas Governor and 2017-2019 US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry astutely said that the wind-power failure in Texas and the green energy ideologues running the country will get people killed if changes are not made to ensure a reliable power grid. Now, with horrible winter storms and record low temperatures, lives have been lost in Texas. Where is the mainstream media? They are silent because it doesn’t fit their “green energy is godly/fossil fuels are deadly” narrative.
We cannot play politics with people’s lives. No American should be entirely opposed to using green energy, and no American should be entirely opposed to using fossil fuels, either. We need a conjunctive approach that utilizes both green energy and fossil fuels rather than a disjunctive approach that requires lawmakers to choose one or the other.
