In 2020, everything about America has been deemed by pop culture and the mainstream media as racist. The school system? Racist. Nature and hiking? Racist. Syrup bottles of cute old ladies? Racist.
Now, we’ve reached a new level of deeming everything to have racist undertones or behaviors. Bucknell University Biology professor Steve Jordan explained recently to his students that even questioning the idea of systemic racism “is itself offensive and racist.“
Don’t you miss the days when college was supposed to be all about expanding your horizons, perspectives, and ways of thinking? When we were encouraged to question authority and the mainstream narrative, rather than being forced to think a certain way or risk being called the worst names in the book?
The Left is incredibly skilled at labeling people they disagree with the most atrocious things possible–racist, white supremacist, anti-woman, misogynist, transphobic, or homophobic (I could go on and on and on). They smear people this way to shut down any productive dialogue or conversation that could change people’s minds one way or another. On college campuses, they do it to ensure that indoctrination is taking place, rather than education. It’s wrong, but it doesn’t have to define you and I. Don’t let the Left silence your unique voice.
