Professor Ben Philippe at Barnard College Writes About “Trapping White People In A Room To Be Blown Up and Gassed”

Next up on the crazy train of the Professor Watchlist is Professor Ben Philippe, an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Film Studies at Barnard College. 

In his latest book, Sure, I’ll Be Your Black Friend, Philippe wrote a passage in his book about “gassing and blowing up his white friends.” He shared his experience writing the book and his opinions on the issue during a broadcast interview with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).

In the CBC interview, he even went one step further to discuss his urge to write about a hypothetical race war to “advanced world-building” similar to the game “Dungeons and Dragons,” calling a race war inevitable and “the only logical outcome to America’s political and social instability.”
