The Catholic Church is one of the most effective humanitarian organizations in the world, but what Pope Francis is failing to remember is that it was capitalism and free markets that allowed for more generation of wealth in private charity to fund those projects. To suggest that capitalism is failing humanity is a complete fallacy. It was capitalism which lifted more than 1 billion people out of poverty and improved the human experience!
