We are experiencing some of the lowest COVID-19 hospitalization rates of the pandemic. Yet, one of the most progressive cities in America tried to make history by reinstating their mask mandate.
Philadelphia sought to resume this anti-scientific policy on April 18. But just days before, a federal judge in Florida struck down the federal mask mandate. Needless to say, this put the “City of Brotherly Love” in a precarious position.
Clearly, this wasn’t about safety or health. It’s was about control and ideology. Really, it’s about proving how liberal they REALLY are. This is PROOF.
Philadelphia officials reversed the mask policy just days after reinstating it, realizing they were not in line with the law. Of course, no evidence was cited.
Philadelphians deserve better.
However, actions have consequences. Political choices have consequences. The residents of the city chose these leaders and now the residents must live with the values that these people uphold.
Those who are paying the ultimate price for this insanity are the people who chose conservative leaders. They deserve sympathy.
