Now that the Super Bowl is over, we can focus on a new rivalry: New York vs. Florida. Thanks to excellent free-market conservative policies by leaders who love capitalism, nearly 1,000 people a day are moving to Florida. The high taxes, skyrocketing crime, and never-ending Covid closures in New York City, due to liberal policies, make the sales pitch for Florida even more effortless.
However, whether you go online or chat with New Yorkers, you see that many New Yorkers look down upon Florida. New Yorkers mock Floridians. New Yorkers say things like; we would NEVER live in Florida. New York City is the BEST place on earth.
Two questions: First of all, the best at what? The best at charging people astronomical prices to live in a shoebox overlooking a row of trash dumpsters? Second of all (and most importantly), did you New Yorkers ever think that Floridians don’t want YOU? Floridians are proud of the things you look down upon. So, please, New Yorkers, stay there.
