I am sure you already know that Facebook has decided to change its name to “META.”
This decision clearly came as a result of the official negative connotation around the name “Facebook.”
From their “fact-checking,” or in other words, control of information— to banning Conservatives, or banning the President of the United States (Trump), to their blatant assistance for the sitting President Joe Biden during his campaign, and more— they realized that instances of all these things came out in connection to Facebook, worldwide. Therefore, wanting to steer away from the ‘Facebook reputation,’ they changed their name.
Now I guess they have a clean slate with “META.”
Will they change their ways under this new name? —Or will they have to come up with yet another new name in 3 years to disassociate from their future disasters?
