It’s been a little over a month since my first book, Frontlines: Finding My Voice on an American College Campus, was released, and what a ride it has been! I have received such an incredible and unexpected outpouring of support from thousands of people around the world, and to say I am grateful for your support is an understatement.

If you haven’t purchased your copy of Frontlines, it’s not too late! You can grab your copy here.

As a first-time author, it was incredibly challenging to navigate the publishing world. Turns out, I knew very little about the world of publishing a book–who knew how many rounds of editing had to happen for a Word document to turn into a locked manuscript?!

Because I did not have a literary agent or a connection with a large publishing house, I decided to self-publish my first book. I worked with a self-publishing company, Scribe Media, that turns your idea into a beautiful finished product in a very similar manner to a big publishing house. As part of my work with them, I had a publishing manager who oversaw every step of my publication process, who connected me with other experts in the company to assist with cover design, interior layout design, the editing process, marketing, and more.

I had a fantastic experience working with Scribe and could not recommend their services or company enough. They are exceptionally professional and work with you every step of the way to turn your dream into a reality.

Now that I have published my first book, I am looking forward to continuing writing and embracing my new role in the conservative movement as an author–hopefully working with a notable publishing company and imprint!
