Imagine that you’re in school, attending each and every class (on time, might I add), and you study your butt off for your tests and assignments to ensure you get that “A” grade mark. The kids who skip class are often tardy, misbehave, and decide that studying or paying attention isn’t worth their time, fail their tests and assignments, and get an “F” grade mark.
Some schools today would classify that as RACIST!
How are people seriously associating EFFORT with skin color??
In Minnesota, White Bear Lake Area School superintendent Wayne Kazmierczak has charged the movement by no longer giving an “F” grade because it is part of the district’s commitment to “eliminating systemic racism.”
So, in other words, educational leaders in Minnesota BELIEVE that if you are a student of color, you cannot behave well, get to class, or turn in assignments…AKA, they think you’re stupid and incapable. THIS IS OUTRIGHT BIGOTRY.
WAKE UP, PEOPLE. Grading based on the most simple of expectations is an entity about as far from racist as it gets.
But hey, in today’s world, everything is racist, right? Even whether you can turn a project in by a specific deadline.
See, the truth is that decisions like this actually create more bigotry, more segregation, and alienate people of color as subordinates more than ever before.
