This is something I have seen time and time again. People expect a pass when they mistreat you because they are the significant other, good/best “friend,” a family member, etc. Know your worth, and stand up for your worth. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for not accepting the mistreatment of those who claim they love/care for you.
