Colin Kaepernick is continuing his crusade against the NFL playing the victim. This time in his new Netflix drama series titled, Colin In Black & White.
In the clip above, Kaepernick pushes a false, radical Left-wing narrative that spews nonsense saying the NFL treats their potential talent as slaves, specifically through the NFL Combine.
The reality is, these players (who voluntarily show up) are evaluated through a process that could turn them into millionaires. To compare that process to the atrocities of years past where black men and women were treated inhumanely and bought and sold without any say just goes to show how out of touch with reality Kaepernick is.
Let’s set the record straight.
Kaepernick was not “blackballed” by the league. He had multiple chances to make an NFL return with tryout invitations from various teams including the Atlanta Falcons in 2019.
Kaepernick is not a victim. He was Blaine Gabbert’s backup when he took a knee. BLAINE GABBERT. Simply put, Kaepernick was no longer a good QB. No team wanted a washed-up QB who couldn’t contribute at a high level and was guaranteed to be a distraction that was not good for business.
This is just a woke, delusional “activist” pretending to be fighting the “oppressive system” for the people by making allegations and comparisons that have no foundation in truth.
The NFL is a meritocracy. Black, white, pink, purple. If you can play, you get a job. If you really want to be upset about something, maybe you should be speaking out against domestic violence and sexual assaulters like Antonio Brown who get jobs right after they get bailed out of their criminal activity. Get upset about how the NFL protects them and players like Deshaun Watson who has 22 sexual assault allegations.
Colin Kaepernick has made over $20 million from Netflix, Nike and others for pushing this nonsense. Plus, this devalues the true oppression and hurt that people of the slave trade felt. In my opinion, this should infuriate the black community. Don’t listen or feel bad for a guy who cashes in on telling Americans that our country and institutions like the NFL are foundationally racist.
