Factually speaking, there is a crisis at our Southern border. Specifically, an area is known as Del Rio, Texas. Now home to thousands of migrants seeking to enter the United States. The conditions in Del Rio are dangerous. A lack of plumbing, potable water, trash disposal, and bathrooms have created unsanitary conditions. Video footage shows migrants living in total squalor–there is no social distancing, and there is not a mask in sight.
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki about the conditions in Del Rio. Essentially, Doocy correctly stated that travelers entering the United States had to show proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID test. So why don’t the people in Del Rio? Press Secretary Psaki had no real answer other than, “[illegal immigrants] are not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time. It’s not the same thing.”
So, if you break the law by crossing the border illegally, you don’t have to play by the rules or subject yourself to potentially dangerous medications. Moreover, these people get free healthcare, housing, and school, paid for by American citizens.
We have now seen U.S. citizens who are members of the United States military, frontline healthcare workers, teachers, students, and executives get fired from their jobs because they do not wish to get a vaccine. These are hard-working Americans who contribute massively to our society. They are being punished by the very same people who promote and encourage illegal activity.
What message does this send to hard-working American citizens who pay their taxes and do the right thing? How deadly is a disease if you are blindly giving certain people exemptions from the protocols?
It’s the policies of the Left that have created hesitancy for this vaccination. Our southern border is absolute proof.
