It’s no surprise that our government-run education system is in shambles. I can’t wait to have kids one day and NOT send them to a government school. I want to start a charter school or some form of alternative schooling for my community one day. And I would also love to upend the government school system in this country. But that takes a long time, a lot of people, and of course, a lot of resources.

The tiny victories we see in each state (where education is supposed to be handled, not in Washington, DC) are encouraging in this long effort. Most recently, news came that families in Arizona can now have their tax dollars follow their children to support their options in non-government schooling.
