Swedish Meatballs are amazing.
Swedish Fish are delightful.
Swedish labor laws . . . do not jive with American Socialism.
American supporters of socialism point to Sweden as a paradigm for American success, yet they know almost NOTHING about the operation of this Scandinavian country’s labor and the wage system.
American Socialists constantly bang their fists about increasing the minimum wage in America. They often point to Sweden as their paradigm for success. Not so fast: in Sweden, there is no minimum wage. Yep, that’s correct! Sweden does not have an official minimum salary. Wages are generally negotiated through workers’ unions.
However, the government is not obligated to pay a worker any set fee.
It looks like our American fans of socialism probably know more about Swedish Meatballs or Swedish Fish than they do about Swedish Labor Law.
