So, when I first heard about Alec Baldwin’s negligent discharge of a firearm while on the set of his movie ‘Rust’ back in October, I shared my initial thoughts and why I felt it shouldn’t be politicized.

I was just trying to be empathetic because I couldn’t imagine accidentally taking a person’s life and wanted to give the respect to Baldwin that I would want if I were in his shoes.

Boyyy has his actions shown differently.

He was silent for about a week, but since then, he seems to be planting himself in front of every camera he can get his hands on. Including his cellphone, which has an open warrant!

Alec Baldwin’s consistent blame on everyone and everything but himself is the big red flag for me. He claims:

  • He didn’t have his finger on the trigger.
  • He and Halyna assumed the gun was empty.
  • He wasn’t pointing the gun at Halyna.
  • The gun went off on its own.
  • He didn’t hire the props manager and armorer.
  • He didn’t know about the mistreatment of workers on the set.

News flash, dude, no matter how much you say it, the gun doesn’t magically go off on its own. The USCCA actually came out with a detailed video debunking Baldwin’s claims:

What frustrates me the most is his use of Halyna’s name to victimize his side of the story even more, and Halyna can’t be here to defend her side.

Baldwin’s interview with George Stephanopoulos looked insensitive, rehearsed, and if you watch closely, contradicts himself multiple times! The goal of that interview wasn’t to break his silence and show empathy. It was to speak his narrative before the truth comes out and make himself be seen as the victim.

It’s narcissistic and gaslighting.

He’s repeating this narrative over and over again to make the public believe it, but guess what, whether it was an accident or not, he was the one with a gun in his hand and pulled the trigger. He is the one responsible, and he will face charges.

Did you feel Alec Baldwin’s interview with George Stephanopoulos was sincere? Let me know in the comments!
