Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers publicly criticized and mocked leftist leaders, mainly the leftist Governor Gavin Newsom, during an interview on “The PatMcAfee Show.”
In the video, he points out two factual instances of Newsom’s hypocrisy.
The first is when Newsom was at the expensive French Laundry restaurant with no mask, no social distancing, and lied about it. Story here.
The second is when Newsom shut down public schools for all but sent his kids to an expensive in-person private school. Story here.
There needs to be a different word for what Newsom is doing beyond “hypocrisy.” Because he knows that what he is doing is against his own oppressive rules, but he does it anyway because he doesn’t think the restrictions apply to him and doesn’t think us peasants will find out.
Aaron Rodgers said:
“Don’t eat out at a restaurant unless you’re wearing a mask and separate. Oh, here is a photo of the Governor of California violating those rules. Oh, public schools are closed, but I can send my children to a private school in person. So it’s like, I mean, for us to count on the government to help us out is becoming a joke at this point.”
