Just when you think the government’s response to COVID-19 can’t get any crazier, get a load of this!
The Belgian government recently announced through the Interior Minister Annelies Verlinden that the police had been instructed to knock on doors to enforce COVID-19 rules.
No police officers have been instructed to enter homes of those suspected of violating COVID-19 policies. Still, they have been asked to remind citizens of the rules should they be suspected of violating them.
The Christmas season is one of joy, light, and life. People worldwide deserve the opportunity to make educated decisions for themselves whether or not to see their family members around the holidays.
