Jack Dorsey founded one of the most addicting social media platforms known to mankind, Twitter. Now that Twitter is being sold to someone else and taken private, Jack has made some comments that are interesting, to say the least.

In a recent Twitter thread, Dorsey expressed what he believes Twitter should be and gave praise to the platform’s new owner:

Jack started by saying how he felt Twitter should operate in principle and that he believes it should simply be a communication platform. Now, unlike some of his woke friends, Jack understands the financial component behind that wish and realizes it’s not possible. But then he shares a brief thought about Elon.

Elon is the singular solution I trust. I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness.

NOW this can be one of two things:

  1. Jack genuinely believes that Elon is what is best for the platform. He has stated in the past that Twitter is a difficult monster to tame and has even been somewhat open to discussions of how the platform can operate. After the willingness to appear on Joe Rogan’s podcast, it seemed that he genuinely cared about Twitter as a platform of hopeful objectivity despite some of its shortcomings.
  2. He’s set to make close to a BILLION DOLLARS for the sale

If the sale goes through as planned, Jack’s outstanding shares of Twitter will net him $978 million! We’ll all find out if Jack sticks it out on Elon’s side over the coming years.
