On April 15, a student poured coffee over a Turning Point USA table at the University of California, Berkeley, and walked away after ruining flyers and other materials.

The table was posted on campus before a chapter event featuring Live Action CEO and pro-life activist Lila Rose, called “Women’s Rights or Human Rights.”

The chapter president, John Paul Leon, who witnessed the incident take place, described what happened in an article for Campus Reform

The chapter caught the student, who is a female, on video after she violated the table.

“Wow, I’m interested in hearing more about this event,” she told the chapter members sarcastically, before pouring “coffee across the table and its contents,” according to Leon.

The chapter also received some objection from students while promoting the event on campus. Another video posted on Instagram features the chapter members interviewing Berkeley students on the subject of abortion a week prior to the event.

One student expressed neutrality toward the subject, while another said bluntly (and perhaps with deliberate provocativeness), “I think abortion is murder and I’m ok with it.”

Another student, in a similar manner, said he hopes for more abortions because he thinks they’re “good,” and “truly right and just.” The same student, upon being invited to the event, asked if he would be able to scream “fascist” if he attended.
