The Left has gotten what they wanted! They should be happy, right? They should be cheering in the streets! Instead, they’re doubling down on their racial hysteria, and I’m ALREADY tired of it. In what’s sure to be a preview of the prevailing conversation on the Left for the next four years, former ESPN writer and professional Woke Warrior Jemele Hill said on Twitter:

Democracy is not fixed. White supremacy isn’t taking a break.

Of course, nothing can ever be fixed, certainly not something as vague and unspecific as to the bogeyman of “White Supremacy” because it must continue to be the enemy of the Left until the end of time. Suppose “White Supremacy” and its sibling “Systemic Racism” can continue to dominate the conversation in perpetuity. In that case, the Left will never be forced to find real solutions to the problems we face as Americans.

The truth is, racism is likely not in the top 10 problems that African-Americans face in society. Like ALL Americans, we worry about stable housing, employment, and upward mobility in a culture increasingly controlled by large corporations (that the Left loves, by the way). But this doesn’t matter to the Left, who are convinced that Blacks and other People Of Color in America see themselves ONLY as victims and nothing more.

For race hustlers like Jemele Hill, who peddle platitudes to a base that feels somehow empowered by being a victim, this will continue to bring her fame, wealth, and prominence. In her world, being Black in America isn’t a source of pride or doesn’t include a path to success; it’s just a never-ending slog of pain and misery.

Fail to do well in school? White Supremacy! Fail to get that job or promotion? Racism! I can’t imagine the state of perpetual misery I’d be in if I subscribed to the leftist worldview of what it means to be Black in America. But I feel bad for those who do. For the sad souls who internalize what she and others say, it will bring them nothing but misery. They will continue to fail because they see themselves as destined to fail because of their skin color.

And what a sad waste of American potential that is.
