Speaking at Turning Point USA college chapters throughout the school-year truly fills me with joy. As a second amendment advocate, I love speaking with students about their constitutional right to own a firearm.
I was in New Jersey this week where I spoke to the Rider University chapter about how their state is trying to restrict the second amendment right of their citizens.

I began speaking at colleges during the Spring 2022 semester. It was a new experience for me, but I dove in by speaking to ten schools across the country in just three months. My goal wasn’t just to get to know students and hear their perspectives on firearms, it was also to challenge myself to be a stronger advocate and educator.
Every discussion about firearms on college campuses is different depending on the state they are on. States with more gun rights tend to be very supportive and have few questions, whereas states with more restrictions (like New jersey) will come with more questions and debate topics. This is my favorite! A few students came to me with their opinion on raising age restrictions and limiting magazine capacity. We both listened to each other, heard one another, and understood that we can agree to disagree. Conversations like these are so important! Having civil conversations about gun rights where neither side yells or says “I’m an expert so I’m right.” We ask hard questions to get each other to critically think. THAT is my favorite.

I plan to hit the road hard during Spring 2023 and cannot wait! You can follow me on Instagram for updates on what campuses I will be attending.
