Turning Point USA’s Frontlines team of journalists were successful in winning several Telly Awards for reports published in 2025.
Specifically, the team received one gold award, three silver, and one bronze.
Frontlines TPUSA Executive Producer Brandon Drey commented on the awards won by the team.
“This is an outstanding achievement that highlights the quality, courage, and excellence of our journalism,” Drey told TPUSA HQ. “I couldn’t be more proud of Jonathan, Savanah, and the entire team. These five Telly Awards are a powerful validation of the fearless, boots-on-the-ground reporting we’re committed to delivering every single day. It’s truly an honor of a lifetime to produce these stories at such a critical time in our country — and I’m grateful to everyone who poured their talent and dedication into making them happen.”
Winning a gold Telly Award was a report conducted by Savanah Hernandez titled “Homeless Encampments of Austin: Needles, Machetes, and Failed Policies.”
A silver award went to a report on the homelessness in Austin, Texas, featuring coverage of violence and drug use in the region. Hernandez also conducted this report.
Reporter Jonathan Choe helped the team win silver for a report titled “Political Campus Violence: WSU Instructor Attacks Conservative Student.”
