Former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin revealed that she’s freezing her eggs at 30 years old.

She shared on her Instagram stories, “I am in the process of freezing my eggs and last night was the first night for the shots, but I figure I want to document it and share it with you guys as much as I can. I think it’s so important as women to know our bodies and our options. For me, I’m not old, but I’m not a spring chicken and I want kids one day but not anytime soon and I figure why not do it now in quarantine?”

Of course, fans of Bachelor Nation like myself know she recently ended her engagement with her fiancé of 2 years, Garrett Yrigoyen. Allegedly it was because he came out with a post supporting the police and is a Conservative while she’s a diehard liberal.

I can’t help but draw the line between the two. So you (allegedly, I have to say that) end things with your mans because you can’t bear the thought of someone daring to support the people that risk their lives for you every day because you don’t think that’s “progressive enough.” But now, where does that leave you? An ended engagement and wondering when you’re going to get married and have kids because you put politics and social pressure from your rabid leftist BFF (Rachel Lindsey and podcast co-host) over love.

Had she chosen to stay with Garrett, it’s safe to assume they would have been married sooner than later, and God-willing have kids before too long. How important is your standing on social media and being liked by your peers if you have no one to confide in or share life with at the end of the day?

Feminism seems absofreakinglutely LONELY. Not worth it.
