We can thank the left for making cancel culture mainstream in America, and now we can thank them for turning it into full-blown totalitarianism. What started as an embarrassing call out for dubbed “wrong think” with a Twitter hashtag has turned into conservatives being completely de-platformed, targeted, and entirely stripped of our ability to earn a living. Businesses are snitching on consumers to other companies and warning them that, *gasp*, we may be conservative. This is beyond cancel culture now. It’s a social credit system precisely like the CCP’s that is used to control their citizens. Instead of scaring people to behave a certain way with the threat of violence, they threaten us with the threat of losing our jobs and everything we’ve worked towards.

Let me back up, though. What is the social credit system? It’s a procedure in China that tracks every citizen’s move socially and economically to force them to behave in a way that the government deems acceptable. Congressman Mark Green recently wrote, “Anything from jaywalking, traffic violations, smoking in a non-smoking area, missing a payment or disturbing neighbors is used to determine one’s social credit score,” he said. “‘Bad’ behavior lowers a person’s score and can make it difficult for them to buy, sell, travel, get loans or send their children to college. ‘Very bad’ behavior, such as political dissent, can get someone and their family members blacklisted, making it difficult for them to function in society.”

Green comes prepared with the receipts, too, proving that this regime has made its way to America. He pointed out that Senator Chuck Schumer recently suggested conservatives be put on a no-fly-list for how they voted. Similarly, a New York Times editor was forced to resign for daring to allow conservative Senator Tom Cotton to publish an opinion piece. Remember when Senator Josh Hawley lost a book deal for being conservative? The most recent example of this being burned into everyone’s brains, of course, is actress Gina Carano getting fired from Disney’s The Mandalorian for posting her conservative views on social media.

This used to be a behavior we only saw in extreme communist regimes, but it’s becoming as common as driving through an ATM. Speaking of banking, don’t be surprised if soon we lose our ability to bank certain places, rent certain apartments, book certain hotels, etc.

We will all be fired. We will all be canceled. It’s not an if, it’s when. Learn a trade, start your own business where you own your brand, and learn to hunt. I hate that the left has forced me to take on the paranoid persona of a conspiracy theorist. Except this is no conspiracy. The evidence is abundant.
