TPUSA Chapter Forced to Disband Amid China ‘Criticism’
A few weeks ago, the TPUSA Live Feed reported a story about Glenbrook South High School’s TPUSA Chapter being criticized for putting up the “China Kinda Sus” poster designed by our TPUSA field program in their school.
Since the disapproval of the poster broke, backlash from two left-leaning lawmakers in the community has now forced the chapter to disband after their sponsor stepped down to avoid any speculation of “racism.”
The poster was previously approved by school officials to be put up in public spaces, and the school has not identified any policies that the Turning Point USA chapter may have broken.
For school officials to conclude that a poster poking fun and opposing a powerful foreign government such as China is racist is absolutely insane. To our TPUSA students at Glenbrook South High School, we stand with you and are proud of you for speaking the truth and standing for what you believe in!
