President Biden Introduced the “X” Gender Passport Marker – Here’s Why He Shouldn’t Have
In order to celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility, President Biden recently unveiled several new measures to advocate for and promote inclusion of those who’ve been diagnosed with—or diagnosed themselves with—gender disphoria, or trangenderism. Among President Biden’s plans, his signature initiative was uprooting the structure and processes of the federal government. The Biden Administration spearheaded this by changing the passport process, allowing anyone to override the traditional passport application process and select the gender of “X.” Additionally, he proposed plans of making gender-neutral Transportation Security Administration scanners.
These actions in advancing transgender-oriented policy are not limited to travel agencies. Visitors to the White House will soon be able to choose this “X” gender when interacting and gaining authentication within the Visitor Entry System.
Honest question: when was the last time you heard of gender “X?” If this is your first time, you’re not alone. The left can’t even keep the definition of transgender the same. This is one of the biggest flaws of the left; they lose all consistency when advocating for many of their principles.
According to UCLA’s Williams Institute, only 0.6% of U.S. adults identify as transgender. Instead of combating crime in our cities or ludicrous breaches of medical integrity in our states, President Biden chooses to devote his time to satisfy the needs of less than 1% of the population.
Gender dysphoria is a clinically recognized impairment. Rather than using taxpayer money to promote it, it’s beyond necessary to fight for change in places that actually need it.
