Frontlines Report: Migrants in California Take Advantage of Benefits and Resources Meant for Americans

It’s no secret the illegal immigration issue is out of hand, especially in left-leaning states like California. I visited one of the buildings used by Los Angeles County to house illegal immigrants throughout California.
This house actually has a listing on Zillow for nearly $1 million, amounting to a $4,000 monthly rent.
The same address is also on whistleblower documents detailing how migrants have been receiving thousands of dollars monthly through the state welfare programs Cal-Works, Cal-Fresh, and Medi-Cal.
A whistleblower from Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority discussed the migrant situation in detail with me.
Migrants throughout California receiving still housing, the whistleblower told me.
“They’re still being housed. I don’t know why and sometimes for more than a year. I’ve heard of programs that they’re housing them for a five year plan. They’re receiving from $1,300 to $1,800 dollars a month of cash – every month; and… from $600 to $800, $900 on food stamps from Cal-Fresh.”
The Cal-Works program provides the migrants with cash. Migrants are provided an EBT (debit card) to take cash out from any ATM.
At the location I visited, a family of four received over $2,300 dollars in cash assistance every month from March to December 2024. This does not include food stamps. This is one of many California migrant stations.
There are instances of seven to ten Venezuelans living in a two bedroom unit to avoid paying rent, in order to receive the same welfare amount as though they were paying rent.
The whistleblower claims all of them take advantage of the system.
“They will lie and say they let me go,” the whistleblower said regarding the migrants and their work status. “Sometimes they let themselves go. They don’t get let go of jobs: they quit because they don’t have a mean. They are not worried about having something stable because they have all these free resources.”
Some of the migrants enrolled their children in local schools. Many apply for Section 8 housing and get on a list for benefits provided only to American citizens.
The migrants also have inhabited homeless communities meant for Americans. This is due to programs put into effect by the Biden Administration according to the whistleblower.
“All of a sudden… we have immigrants that are here receiving these resources that before were only for American citizens.”
The whistleblower noted that the majority of these immigrants have no long-term desire to stay in the US.
“They’re not interested in staying here. They don’t like it. They have this sort of entitlement that their culture is better, and I’m just going to be here and make some money and go back home – but I’m not going to go back home empty handed.”
