The TPUSA Frontlines team recently held a panel discussing the influence of Antifa and the “underlying philosophy, propaganda techniques, and other spiritual elements” fueling its efforts.

The panel featured Frontlines reporters Kevin Kalb, Brandon Drey, and Jonathan Choe, who discussed their on-the-ground and undercover experience investigating and revealing Antifa’s underground operations. The topics focused largely on the recruiting strategies of the organization, along with the educational resources it provides to its members and those interested in getting involved with Antifa, which was deemed a domestic terrorist organization by the US government in September.

Choe referred to Oakland, California as the “epicenter” of Antifa, where “planning, recruiting, and propaganda,” efforts are conducted.

The panelists also mentioned Antifa’s use of Satanism, such as Satanic literature and the necessity for abortion, including practices like do-it-yourself abortion kits and morning-after pills.

They believe breaking up the nuclear family would thereby destroy capitalism, Choe noted of these practices.

Antifa also advises members to narrow their communications and not be open users of social media.

One Antifa group highlighted by Frontlines was giving out drug paraphernalia at a booth, deliberately promoting drug use and committing certain crimes with some pamphlets. For instance, a manual on how to steal and not get caught is something members can access and read.

The problems posed by Antifa do not present an easy solution for those seeking to stifle their influence on American life. Choe recommended that the FBI observe and investigate these book fairs.

While opposing their efforts, Kalb believes in showing Antifa activists empathy and love, praying for them, and allowing them to go through a process of self-transformation. The strategy of debate and open discussion, a practice the late Charlie Kirk was known for, is also a must for addressing Antifa.
