Planned Parenthood Director Who Says Children are ‘Sexual’ from Birth Advocates for Porn Literacy Education
A report released by Fox News digital revealed that an executive director for Planned Parenthood in New Jersey has advocated for “comprehensive sex education” for children as young as 4 years old, and has claimed that children are “sexual” from birth.
William (Bill) Taverner is the executive director of Planned Parenthood’s Center for Sex Education, he has spoken at numerous Congressional hearings advocating for what Planned Parenthood considers “medically accurate sex education.”

Planned Parenthood released a guide titled “Fundamentals of Teaching Sexuality” (the name itself implies that educators are instructing people on how to be sexual, rather than “medically” based education to prevent the spread of STD’s) which echos Taverner’s perverted claim. “FACT: Sexuality is a part of life through all the ages and stages. Babies, elders, and everyone in between can experience sexuality.”
The guide also recommends that educators use a “holistic, inclusive, sex-positive lens” when speaking with students, rather than the tried-and-true-lens of abstinence. “Fundamentals of Teaching Sexuality” also recommends discussing “Sensuality, Intimacy, Sexual Identity,” and “Sexual Behaviors and Practices” with minors — children still in elementary, middle, and high school.
Planned Parenthood also claims in their guidance that exposing children to this explicit sex education earlier in life does not lead to participate in sexual behavior earlier than they otherwise would have. The assertion is based on a publication by Advocates for Youth, an activist group that “got in trouble in 2018 for promoting mutual masturbation to grade-school kids,” according to the Blaze.
According to Fox News, Taverner also claimed children “should be taught about pornography in sex education, a position he has maintained up until at least February 2021.”
“I think that there’s this yearning for information that young people have that… hasn’t changed. [The] delivery of how we get information is quite different. I think that the internet is a major influence on how people learn about sexuality. There’s access to erotica, pornography. That was very different for young people 30 years ago. It’s certainly not as accessible, certainly not as instantaneous. So there’s a lot of information that is useful.”

Taverner elaborated on his belief that porn literacy could be useful for students, they could discuss the “ethics of porn,” in order to “meet people where they are.” Porn literacy is one of the many realms of sexually explicit material radical leftists are introducing to the classroom, often times without parental knowledge or consent.
“Planned Parenthood is the single largest provider of sex education in the United States, reaching 1.2 million people with education and outreach each year. Planned Parenthood sex educators teach across the lifespan — including students in elementary, middle, and high school as well as young adults, parents, and older adults.”

In New Jersey, where Planned Parenthood’s Center for Sex Education is headquartered, state standards for sex education stipulates that students should be able to “‘describe pregnancy testing, the signs of pregnancy, and pregnancy options, including parenting, abortion, and adoption;’ and ‘Define vaginal, oral, and anal sex,'” by the eighth grade. Outraged parents were unaware that they do have the option to opt their children out of the age-inappropriate curriculum, as the only time it was announced was at a single public hearing which was not heavily publicized, or if they happened to read through the entirety of the law enacted themselves.
Parents have complained around the nation that access to their children’s learning material is increasingly difficult to access, as educators and school boards attempt to keep the liberal activist-funded work they do under wraps.
New Jersey schools were encouraged to implement the new standards by the federal Department of Education, which threatened to revoke funding if any districts or institutions declined the curriculum.
Idaho’s Department of Health and Welfare was recently exposed by internet sleuths for purchasing classroom material from a radical “porn literacy” group, which “involves instruction on ‘kink and power, pleasure, sexual identity, sexual acts, and sexual exploration in relation to pornography.'” There are multiple instances of federal and state government entities funding organizations like Planned Parenthood to not only introduce children to inappropriate concepts, but also to provide medical “care” which includes transgender hormone treatment and puberty blockers to minors.
Public schools in New York City provide Plan B and other contraceptives to girls as young as 14 years old, without parental knowledge or consent though a state-funded program dubbed “CATCH.”
In addition to indoctrinating a million students into a perverse sexual ideology every year and aborting nearly 400,000 babies in 2019-20, Planned Parenthood is also the second-largest provider of sterilizing drugs and mutilating hormones.
Planned Parenthood doctor, Bhavik Kumar, touted the leftist talking point during a Congressional hearing that, “men can have pregnancies, especially trans-men,” before advocating for hormone treatments and puberty blockers for children. Since the overturn of Roe V. Wade, Planned Parenthood clinics located in states where abortion is nearly or entirely banned have had to adapt and find a new way to earn millions of dollars per year by means of destroying lives. Its a well-known fact by now that “gender affirming care” services are big money makers, prompting numerous medical professionals to get into the business.
“About 43% of Planned Parenthood revenues came from government reimbursements or grants in the 2014-2015 fiscal year. Out of the $1.29 billion in total revenue, $553.7 million came from the government reimbursing Planned Parenthood for providing medical services covered by programs such as Medicaid or from government grants from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).”
