Left-Wing Activists Offer up to $250 to Service Industry Workers who Report SCOTUS Justice Sightings
ShutDownDC, a left-wing activist group, has offered D.C. service industry workers up to $250 to report any Supreme Court Justice sightings in public to the group. Once a sighting has been reported and confirmed, ShutDownDC will publicize the location and encourage protesters to harass and stalk the Justice.
Axios reported:
“The group is specifically targeting Kavanaugh and fellow Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett and Chief Justice John Roberts.”
This report was released just shortly after Justice Kavanaugh was forced to flee a well-known restaurant in D.C. — Morton’s — after enraged protesters engulfed the establishment.
Morton’s steakhouse released a statement condemning the mob of protesters, which led to a lot of backlash from the radical leftists. According to Newsweek, thousands of people have called and booked fake reservations at the restaurant in attempt to wreck their profits.
Peter Doocy, one of the last real journalists, asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about the Justices’ right to privacy, and if this administration will condemn the mob harassment. Her answer was, well, less than impressive.
See for yourself:
What amazes me most about all of this is the lack of responsibilities these people must have. Imagine having the time to drop everything on a dime to rush to an unsuspecting establishment that’s just trying to turn a profit and pay their employees, to harass a national figure…
The fact that the White House has neglected to condemn blatant harassment is pure insanity, especially when considering the attempted assassination of Justice Kavanaugh just before Roe v. Wade was overturned. This kind of nonchalance regarding the clear threat posed by these protesters is just another example of our leaders’ weakness.
Unfortunately, we have come to expect it these days, and the least we can hope for is call for nonviolence.
