ATF Nominee Gets Roasted By Senate Committee
President Biden’s nominee who, if nominated, will be in charge of the ATF, the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives bureau, David Chipman supports the idea to ban AR-15 rifles. No shock there.
Should a man that can’t even explain what an AR-15 rifle is be in charge of making this decision?

Not shown in the video above, Chipman told Senator Ted Cruz, “With respect to the AR-15, I support a ban as has been presented in a senate bill and supported by the President”. Senator Cruz rebutted and said that the AR-15 was “one of, if not the, most popular rifle in America .” Senator Cruz is correct.
If we are going to put someone in charge to make legislation decisions, shouldn’t they be educated and well versed on the subject before they make legislative changes that would infringe on OUR Second Amendment rights as Americans?
It still amazes me how people refer to an AR as an “assault rifle” when AR really stands for the brand that first developed the AR-15 style rifle, Armalite Rifle.
This may be a small slip up for David Chipman that the Left will push to the side, but this should sound a major alarm for 2A friendly and Constitution loving patriots! Remember, once you give even just ONE freedom away, the rest are bound to follow.
