Latinos Exit the Left

It is interesting to see a particular shift going on within the left, and that shift pertains to Latinos leaving the left and coming to the right.
The question is, why would Latinos, especially those from Latin America, ever vote for the left? Some say it is because of the bevy of government programs that give them access to resources, while others surmise it’s because leftists are open advocates for open borders, giving them the veneer of being considered “sympathetic” and “empathetic” to the plight of those who illegally cross our nation’s border. Either way, it is evident that this community is seeing the promises made to them by the left as illusions.
I never understood why the left would alienate their own supporters, but it is quite obvious they have lost touch with the people due to their radically progressive nature. Latinos are quite fond of larger families and prioritize traditional values. Yet the left constantly and continuously attacks conservative values and families for our traditional take on social issues.
The promotion of drag queens frolicking half-naked, dancing provocatively, and twerking in front of our children, supporting transitioning children and providing “safe spaces” for them to talk about their trans identity without the consent of their parents or behind their parents backs altogether, demonizing parents who do not affirm their children’s ever-changing identity, and among the many throngs of other reasons are why these radicals are so out of touch with such a family centric traditionally-minded people. Leftist radicals have taken over and redefined their party to exclude ANYONE with a conservative voice, including their once dedicated voter block – the Latino American.
Another reason for the shift is due to the ridiculous rise in taxes many people are currently experiencing. Finances are being strained, not just due to a shattered economy, but in relations to the exorbitant taxes, especially in working class neighborhoods.
Adding to these frustrations is the influx of illegals pouring over the border contributing to a strain on current resources, especially in border towns. The blatantly ignored lawlessness, rise in taxes, and poor economy are reasons enough to change the mind of even the most ardent supporter of leftist ideals.
Change is happening, it is in the air and it is everywhere. Will such change in relation to Latinos exit from the left prove to be enough to change the political landscape in the upcoming months? Only time will tell.
