Youtube Removes Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Anti-Lockdown Roundtable With Health Experts
“First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out- because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out- because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me- and there was no one left to speak for me.” – Martin Niemoller
Remember when Big Tech started removing the more “controversial” figures in politics, and we all didn’t fight back because we said, “eh, they are controversial, they kinda had it coming.”
Where did that get us? Governor Ron DeSantis is having his content removed for “violating” the “community standards” of YouTube.
The video, from mid-March, was a two-hour long discussion between four public health experts from Harvard Medical School, Stanford University, and the University of Oxford. The health experts discussed why lockdowns were not the best course of action to take in the era of COVID-19.
While YouTube tried to send the video down the memory hole, fortunately, it is archived here.
