What ‘Free Britney’ Really Means
I am sure you have been following the awful story about Britney Spears and how she’s being entirely controlled by her father.
Britney Spears deserves to be free from this tyrannical authority over her.
I have found it very ironic how many Leftists advocate for Britney to be free without realizing what they are actually advocating for.
So they believe that she should be able to make her own health decisions (without an authority over her), they believe that she should be able to spend her money exactly how she wants to (without someone telling her how to spend it or what she must do with it), she should be able to go wherever she wants and not stay home because someone is telling her to, and more…
All they need to do is replace the figure of Britney’s dad with the government. They would realize that everything they “believe” in and advocate FOR in politics is, and I don’t say this lightly, MESSED UP. They should analyze everything they are advocating for because they would be shocked to realize they’re basically all conservative ideals.
FREEDOM is the reason that #FreeBritney is something Liberals and Conservatives agree on. FREEDOM is the core of America, all of us are rooted in that. So why are the Liberals itching to give the government more power over our lives? Just like Britney’s dad has over Britney.
The answer is that the Liberals are either really on the side of Britney’s dad, or they really have conservative values.
