US Women’s National Team Takes a Knee Then Takes An L In Olympic Opener, Snapping Historic Win Streak
The United States Women’s National Team (USWNT), led by extremely talented but even more woke Megan Rapinoe, probably should have spent more time preparing for their Olympic matches rather than focusing on their Anti-American demonstrations like this one from a match in 2020:

USWNT has been one of the most dominant teams in the history of the Olympics. That’s a fact. When I think of Olympic dominance, I think of our men’s basketball teams (Dream Team, Redeem Team), Michael Phelps, and our women’s soccer teams. They are in a legendary company, but they have obviously lost their way.
They were the number one-seeded team heading into yesterday’s group stage match against Sweden to kick off the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Not only did they snap their 44-match win streak, they got THROTTLED! They didn’t even score a goal – losing 3-0.
It’s worth noting that both teams did take a knee before the match, but this is about way more than just this match. Their antics for years have divided their viewers and now with the allowance of demonstrations before competition at this year’s Olympics, I feel like this a dangerous, slippery slope.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) allowing these kinds of demonstrations after Rule 50 was set in place to prevent athletes from protesting will do the same thing it did to the NFL, NBA, and more. Fans will tune out, it will divide us, and no progress will be made. The IOC has made a terrible mistake, just like NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver have.
You’d figure losing to a 15-U boys soccer club would have humbled them enough, but this may have been the most humbling of them all. After years of demanding equal pay, claiming sexism, virtue-signaling, calling our flag racist, supporting an organization that backs the communist Cuban government, and more woke, identity politics, I hope they finally realize they are losing track of what’s important: Loving your country and WINNING! They have done it before. They can do it again.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: sports have the ability to bring us together unlike anything else. But the USWNT has and will only continue to lose fans and support if they stick to the woke path they are on. They have to realize the harsh reality: the millions of fans they once had are now rooting against them. They may wear red, white and blue but they don’t represent us.
