Radical Protesters Shut Down TPUSA’s Will Witt Event At University of Northern Colorado

Recently, at the University of Northern Colorado, administrative officials were forced to shut down an event with the Turning Point USA chapter on campus featuring Will Witt after protests from leftist students quickly turned disruptive.

Video footage from the event shows protesters loudly banging on tables, clapping, and yelling over Will as he attempted to address the Turning Point chapter in his speech, eventually forcing the school to have to shut down the event. Police escorted Will and the TPUSA chapter outside of the venue, where Will continued to speak outside for an additional hour.

Sarah Geislinger, the chapter President of TPUSA at UNC, shared her unexpected joy that this disruption happened: “It didn’t go as planned… it was better! Our freedom has been under attack and for the first time, I experienced it first hand. Will Witt empowered everyone there to speak out against cancel culture and the mob without fear of violence. I feel more empowered than ever. I will not back down from this fight and I believe everyone there felt the same way. This is only the beginning of Turning Point at the University of Northern Colorado and I am happy to lead the charge.”

Hannah Leloup, the chapter VP and Campus Coordinator added that they wanted to uphold First Amendment rights to free speech for all attendees, and conservative students in attendance heard them out until the event was shut down in a peaceful manner.

Huge kudos to our students at UNC and to our fearless speaker, Will Witt, for not backing down in the face of adversity from The Left. Colorado TPUSA students have historically faced some of the toughest battles to uphold their values on campus, and it doesn’t look like they’re backing down any time soon.

“It’s an honor to be a part of this organization.”
