President Biden Collabs With Beauty Guru Manny MUA Promoting COVID Vaccinations
I’m weirded out. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled the vaccine exists for at-risk people who need this type of solution. But why are we trying to coerce anyone, let alone young, healthy individuals, into getting the jab? There may be reasons. But the approach and coercion played out by President Biden’s administration is rubbing me the wrong way.
Example A: President Biden and Dr. Fauci just did an interview with Manny MUA, a male makeup artist and Youtube beauty guru, encouraging young Americans to get the vaccine.
You can watch the video below:
First, I have many feelings about using Manny MUA to give health messaging to young minds. But also, doesn’t President Biden and Dr. Fauci have more important things to do than talk to a male makeup artist about vaccinations? Perhaps, maybe figuring out how to stop inflation, stop the immigration crisis, and most importantly opening up America FULLY.
Second, why the heck do we idolize celebrities and famous people? Almost ALWAYS, celebrities end up going through some big reveal some time in their life that “I was secretly addicted to drugs this whole time” or “I was super high during that interview, and no one could tell!” or they’ve been cheating on their wife for years. And when the public finds out, for some reason, we are all shocked. Even though it happens almost every single time.
Celebrities are far from perfect. For example, Prince Harry said he did drugs to numb the pain, Oprah was a secret alcoholic, Justin Bieber went off the rails, Demi Lovato overdosed, and almost died. James Charles has been sexually messaging boys he KNEW were underage, on and on… Still, for some reason, as a society, we idolize everything they do, and we see them as thought leaders and take their advice on not only life but now politics too.
COVID-19 and the events of 2020 furthered my confusion as to why we trust these elites who preach to us about morals and values but are far from perfect in private when the cameras are off. So instead, let’s form our own educated decisions based on facts and actual science, not feelings and what we think will gain us the most popularity.
