Turning Point USA is excited to announce the return of our annual Young Women’s Leadership Summit which will be held in Dallas, Texas from June 9th through the 11th!
Modern feminists tell young women to “take control of their lives” by embracing hookup culture, prevent pregnancy by taking chemically toxic birth control (or simply get an abortion and celebrate with a trendy party after), and climb the corporate ladder. This progressive social experiment has created the highest rates of depression, drug use, and divorce in history — it’s clear that something needs to change.
At Turning Point USA, we value the unique role women play in their families, communities, and in this country. Unlike the left, we do not adhere to the fallacy that men and women are interchangeable. That is why we started the Young Women’s Leadership Summit, for women of all ages — not by identity, but by creation.
We believe that modern feminism has failed women and continues to lie to young girls. To combat the rapid cultural decline, we host YWLS, an annual conference by women, for women, which embraces the beauty and blessing of womanhood, and teaches young girls how to navigate the societal rejection of traditional gender norms.
Women who reiterate modern feminist talking points have nothing to do and no one to care for but themselves, which is how concepts like consent, bodily autonomy, manifesting, and self-love have been elevated to a level of importance above all-else. This mentality has resulted in thousands of women feeling unhappy and unfulfilled by the culturally approved feminist lifestyle.
