The subtle erosion of American freedoms certainly isn’t stopping at the college/university level, as this morning I got wind of a disturbing situation conservative influencer and college student Christian Walker is facing right now. On this Twitter video, Christian documents his encounter with some unnamed drone in the “campus health office” who informs him that he will be dropped from all of his classes – which are already paid for and fully online, by the way – if he doesn’t upload a form with his vaccination status into some unnamed student portal. This is quite obviously ridiculous, which is why the video is taking off online.

Vaccine mandates are obviously a failed experiment, as employers and universities alike scramble to make sense of what to do in these situations. It seems like their answer continues to dictate the private health decisions of employees and students, which furthers the question, where are we heading?

Today, the news was released that the Pfizer vaccine effectiveness dropped after a whopping six months! So this means what exactly? The mandates that have been put into effect will have to be updated every six months for those who have decided to get the Pfizer vaccine? Why on earth would employers and universities who have gone fully remote need to know employee and student vaccination status anyway? What in the world is happening here?

The problem right now is that Americans have allowed the ruling class to use the Coronavirus Pandemic as an excuse to erode so many of our freedoms, that it’s almost becoming too late to speak out. We have accepted too much, and those in power right now need to soak every ounce they can out of this pandemic to distract from the fact that they’re a disaster on every level.

What is happening to Christian is likely happening to thousands of students nationwide, but thank God he has the platform he does to be able to speak out for them. When and where does this all end? I think we know the answer. It doesn’t. Because we’ve allowed the ruling class to attain WAY too much power because of our fear of the Coronavirus. It’s time to let go of our fear, take our freedoms back, and get back to living real life.

UPDATE: UCLA administration has reached out to TPUSA with a statement regarding the situation. Spokesperson Bill Kisliuk said, “We have not yet dropped any student for lack of compliance with University of California vaccination policy. We would advise any student who has not done so to confirm their status as soon as possible.”
