Turning Point USA’s Club America will be partnering with the state of Montana to help ensure the organization’s presence is protected throughout the state and that it grows heading into the future.
Gianforte announced the partnership at the State Capitol Wednesday before an audience of students.
“What you are doing on your high school campuses is truly transformative,” he told the students.
“We stand here in support of all of you across Montana that are advancing freedom and American values. Charlie had a passion for working with young people, and in Montana we’ve seen incredible growth of Turning Point chapters on our high school and college campuses. TPUSA has a chapter on nearly every college campus,” the governor noted.
During his address, the governor praised the trend of students who believe in American exceptionalism and constitutionalism, while noting the increased presence the organization has seen throughout the state.
“We want to encourage more students to start these chapters. In Montana we have about 200 high schools,” Gianforte stated. “We would like to see a Club America chapter in every single Montana high school.”
This announcement comes as several states in the US have partnered with TPUSA in a similar manner, including Florida, Texas, and Tennessee.
