This Thanksgiving, Be Thankful To Live In America
Last week I saw one of my favorite tweets in a long time. I wish I remember who wrote it, but I can paraphrase it for you guys. It went along the lines of, “How lucky are we to be able to lose a 20-year war and not have a single aspect of our daily lives change.”
Wow. It hit me because I had just seen the report by CNN on the 9-year-old Afghan girl who was sold to an old man when her father was unable to afford food for the family. Watch here:
Even worse, as winter sets in in Afghanistan, the civilians in the war-torn country will suffer even more greatly.
Please keep your prayers for these people, and make sure you reflect on your gratitude for America and our safety here in our homeland.
