The constitution is only four pages long. FOUR PAGES. Our founding fathers were able to build our country and structure our government in just four pages. The Covid-19 relief and spending bill are more than 5,000 pages long. A bill that should be way more simple than our founding document is 5,000 pages, not because it’s necessary, but because certain government officials are corrupt.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer snuck a provision to BAN FIREARMS from the state capitol along with $5 million for equipment and personnel to enforce the ban into a Covid relief bill.
Can our legislators honestly say they even read every word of every page in these bills? No wonder our government is a mess. Elected officials like Gretchen count on the fact that they will not read every page.
